Founder, AI software | Built LinkedOptima from storefront to delivery

About I started as a freelance web developer building Shopify stores, then ran a small web design and development agency for about a year. Now I'm building LinkedOptima—a full-stack platform I've built end to end, from storefront to scoring engine to payments and delivery. I study Business Technology Management at the University of Alberta and focus on shipping complete products that combine AI capabilities with practical infrastructure.

The founder’s run, section by section

Real run on the founder’s profile · scored against our rubric: 8 before, 59 after the rewrite. Results depend on each profile.

SectionBeforeAfterWhy it scored that way
Headline1/1211/12Placeholder status, not a professional headline; doesn't name the founder role, domain, or proof point for AI software. After: Your headline names the target role and specific product with a concrete proof point, though the claim is descriptive rather than quantified.
About0/1812/18Section missing: there is nothing here to score yet. After: You describe real technical work and a clear product focus, but lack quantified outcomes and an explicit call to action.
Experience0/2214/22Section missing: there is nothing here to score yet. After: Your Founder role shows technical scope and results, but other roles are duty-only and none include concrete metrics.
Skills & keywords0/128/12Section missing: there is nothing here to score yet. After: You list six relevant skills in good order for the target, but the list is below 10 and missing some core founder-level terms.
Credentials2/85/8Business Technology Management degree (in progress) is tangentially relevant but not a strong fit for a mid-level AI software founder. After: Business Technology Management degree is somewhat relevant but not a strong credential for an AI software founder; no AI, computer science, or specialized certifications.
Featured / proof0/80/8Section missing: there is nothing here to score yet.
Social proof0/50/5No recommendations yet. Ask two people you worked closely with.
Photo & banner3/55/5Missing: banner. After: Photo and banner are both set.
Completeness & hygiene2/54/5Missing: custom profile URL, at least one described role, at least 5 skills. After: Missing: custom profile URL.
Activity & content0/50/5Section missing: there is nothing here to score yet.
How the interview works

After your score, you answer up to 8 short questions about your real work: results, numbers, scope. Your answers are the only new facts the rewrite can use. Anything that still needs a number you haven't given us is marked so you can fill it in.

The rubric, section by section
  1. Headline12

Names the role you are aiming for, a specific focus, and one concrete proof point or audience. Reads like a person, not a keyword list.

  2. About18

Opens with a hook, gives specific proof from your real work, states a clear focus, and ends with what to contact you about.

  3. Experience22

Recent roles have bullets that lead with the result, state the scope, and use real numbers you wrote.

  4. Skills & keywords12

10 or more skills, the most relevant first, with the role’s core terms also used naturally in your text.

  5. Credentials8

Education and certifications relevant to the role you are aiming for, clearly listed.

  6. Social proofscored by code5

Counted by code: five or more recommendations earn full points. We never read their text.

  7. Photo & bannerscored by code5

Checked by code: a profile photo (3 points) and a banner (2 points).

  8. Completeness & hygienescored by code5

Checked by code, one point each: location, custom URL, a described role, 5+ skills, education or a certification.

  9. Activity & content5

Based on the activity you describe: regular, relevant posting or commenting.

What gets rewritten
  • Headline: three options, each labelled with the keyword it targets.
  • About: three tones, professional, bold and storytelling.
  • Experience: bullets rewritten results-first, from your own facts.
  • Skills: ordered for the role you're aiming at.
  • Featured and proof: what to pin, based on what you already have.
  • Credentials: relevant certifications to pursue, kept as a plan, never added to your profile.
  • Score, twice: before and after, same rubric, a reason for every point.
  • One free redo: change your inputs and run it again within 7 days.

Questions

Do you need my LinkedIn login?

No. We never ask for or store LinkedIn passwords or cookies. You upload the PDF LinkedIn creates (More → Save to PDF on your profile) or paste your sections.

Can I try it free?

Yes: upload your LinkedIn PDF and get your score now, what's still available per section, and the two biggest fixes. It's scoring only, 2 a day, and needs your email (used only to limit free scores, unless you tick the separate marketing box).

Will you make things up to sound impressive?

No. Rewrites use only facts you give us. Where a number would help, you'll see a placeholder to fill in. Certifications you don't have are suggested as a plan, never added to your profile.

How is the score calculated?

Against a published 100-point rubric across 10 sections, with a one-line reason and the exact text behind each deduction. The after score comes from running your rewritten profile through the same rubric.

My profile is nearly empty. Is this still for me?

Yes. If there's almost nothing on it (or you have no PDF), choose "Build my profile from scratch": a few questions, one per screen, and we write a complete first draft from your answers only. Anything you didn't tell us is marked for you to fill in.

Will this get me a job or more profile views?

We can't promise that, and nobody honestly can. You get a clearer, more complete profile based on your own facts. Review every suggestion before you post it; AI output can contain errors.

Is the Re-score Pass a subscription?

No. It's a one-time payment for 30 days. When it ends, nothing is charged. Buy it again if you want another 30 days.

What happens to my data?

Your profile data is deleted after 30 days by default, and you can export or delete it any time from your account. For the free score, your PDF and its text are not stored at all, unless you choose a plan from it: then we keep that profile for checkout for 24 hours at most.

What if I'm not happy with the result?

Every purchase includes one free redo within 7 days. See the refund policy for details.

Is LinkedOptima part of LinkedIn?

No. We're independent and not affiliated with or endorsed by LinkedIn.
